Nori is certain he’s found his mate, but Connor is reluctant to start a
relationship of any kind. Despite one amazing night together, Nori can’t
persuade Connor to see him again. Nori feels certain fate led them to
each other when Connor’s twin sister married into the family Nori
watches over for Inari, just as he feels certain their brief tryst
affected Connor more than he admits. When Connor is attacked by an evil
kitsune, Nori steps in to defend him and unexpectedly finds himself in
the role of Connor’s protector. Nori and his brothers have to prepare
themselves for a fight, but that won’t stop Nori from trying to convince
Connor they belong together.
